About us
Who runs it?
People in need and crisis are given vouchers by front line care professionals such as social workers, health care professional, citizens advice etc...
The voucher is brought to a central venue where the person will be given a cup of tea/coffee and will be signposted to other services if appropriate. They will also be given a bag of emergency food for them or their family with three days provision.
The Foodbank is run by trained volunteers drawn from across the spectrum but mainly from Christian churches in the borough.
The Foodbank will be open at designated times. Please see the 'How it works' page for more details on opening times and locations.
