1st August 2010
We have moved from Hallmead to Farm Road Building in Farm Road, St.Helier which will act as our ongoing storage centre

2nd July 2010:
We recently received £1,000 (and also food) from Greenshaw High School Mufti day. We have also been able to do a number of lessons to year 7 pupils on the Foodbank as an example of a Christian Charity as part of their RE curriculum.

8th June 2010:
Foodbank opened at Apple Lodge last Wednesday 2nd June and had one client.
Last Saturday we did another Supermarket Collection at Morrison's and 625.9Kgs of food was weighed into our Storage Centre this morning.

26th May 2010:
We will be operating a distribution centre at Apple Lodge at Sutton Court on Brighton Road from Wednesday June 2nd from 6.30-8pm. We are really thankful to those volunteers who have helped in cleaning, getting it ready and praying. Particular thanks to Fusion the Vineyard Youth Group who spent two Sunday's cleaning and painting the Lodge.

25th April 2010:
There will be a Supermarket Collection at Tesco's on Saturday 11th September.


11th April 2010:
Over 80 Adults; 45 children and 12 young adults have been helped by the Foodbank so far!

10th March 2010:
On Saturday June 5th 2010 we will be having a food collection outside Morrison's Supermarket in Sutton.

7th March 2010:
We had an official launch with partners on Saturday March 6th, at 2.30pm, at the Sutton Salvation Army. There were over 80 attendees including many partners, MP's Tom Brake and Paul Burstow and the Leader of the Council, Sean Brennan.

The Deputy Mayor, Councillor John Leach, officially opened the Foodbank. He noted the need for the Christian Church to balance faith and its expression through good works. The Foodbank is one such demonstration of this balance.

Tom Brake and Paul Burstow are both participants in the scheme.

6th March 2010:
We have so far been able to help over 60 clients with emergency food.

5th December 2009:
Friday 4th December was our first day of operating as a Foodbank.
